Have they released three different videos of the same song, one where they`re in the Tron like enviroment, the other is where they`re really up close, and the other is where there`s three blokes sitting on a chair, whilst the women are either upstairs or vacuming.
If all the videos are for the same song why have they done this?

the `tron` video was for 12:51, the first single off room on fire. that was the official video for the song. now, i do know there was another alternative video to the song, sort of a hangin with the strokes live video, which i only saw on nme.com, but there were other places. can`t remember any more, but it`s a tedious thing to fret about anyway, so i wouldn`t really worry. as for why they did it. why not?

The `close up` video is for Reptilia
The `hoovering` video is for The End has No End.

Also, the Strokes are brilliant! Their first album is one of my favouritest bestest albums ever!
I`ll second that! Every song is brilliant on Is This It, and while I think Room On Fire is ever so slightly inferior, it is still a corker of an album too! 8)
My only quibble is that the albums are only just over 30mins long and both easily fit on to a SP minidisc but they are excellent.

True, the songs are short - but that`s one of the best things about it - it doesn`t outstay its welcome. It`s an album that sounds fresh everytime I listen to it. :D
Quality not quantity. It quite takes me back, to those days when you could fit an LP on one side of a C90 and still have room to add a few singles.

Favourite Strokes song everybody? Plenty to choose from, but I just love Take It Or Leave it - the last track on Is This It! 8)
