Hi I have mine set up in the spare room - I have my projector on a glass dvd rack against one wall and I used to project it onto a magnolia wall. My mate told me that even the cheapest screen would be a huge agreement and he was right - got a 80" Acer for 80 euro including postage - Manual roll down. I am exactly like you in the sense I wanted to watch a few movies on the big screen now and again with a strict budget - 4 moths on and the screen is fine - I roll it up after up after each use. good luck with your setup - the guys here are the best on the net for advice -

you are right, the advice has been and i guess will continue to be spot on, very valuable.

i have had the projector for a few weeks know but am only just getting round to watching it. the last week or so with the shelves and the unit has been good because on the face of it, it sounded simple, project on wall but crikey there was/is a lot more to it, well worth it so far. just to test it a little earlier i watched parks and recreation via the blu ray player, forgot i was watching the wall..going to watch a film tomorrow night. tricky when you have a budget, especially with this kind of thing. but i knew if i got the main component know i could add to it as i go on.

i do think a screen will be the next thing. i think in a few months i will look for one and i am sure i will get that bit more from the experience.

cheers
