Would we be allowed in the Eurovision Song Contest if we leave?
That argument might work for both sides.

Well Australia has been recently  in the Eurovision Song Contest, as its well watched down under and we wanted to join in. Culture you see, we are full of it. Keep hearing people say we are full of it.

So Australia is now the most southern part of Europe

Hence the answer to you question is.......the UK can still be in it if we leave the EU, but we still have to cough up the money to run the Contest.

But as a concession to leaving, we would have to hand Graham Norton over to German Television. No big deal.

Interesting conversation about Brexit the other day in with some old work mates, one is Polish, has lived here for years, is married to an English lady, they have 2 children, he has a good job, one is Indian, has lived in UK for about 12 years, came here to do his degree, and has had good jobs since then. Neither can vote, but both said if they could, they'd vote to leave, due to our immigration being out of control and how we should do something about it!

I think this is a bit like how low paid people want higher paid people taxed more, until they become higher paid people.

People are selfish, it's not really a surprise!

Also see tuition fees.
Haul up the ladder Jack, we're alright.

Martin Lewis (Moneysavingexpert.com) has done a blog on how to decide. Straight down the line neutral with pros and cons of either side.
Well worth a read even if you've made your mind up.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what `it` was.
Now, what I`m with isn`t it, and what`s `it` seems weird and scary

It a bit worrying that immigration is still the only thing a lot of ppl think this it is about :( or at least 1/2 of it, i.e. Johnny Foreigner comes over here, abuses our NHS, conveniently forgetting about Johnny Foreigner who works for the NHS :(

I think the big problem with the whole Brexit vote is the idea that most of what people are angry about is the fault of the EU, when it actually has nothing to do with the EU or at the very least the EU isn't stopping us doing things about it.

Farrage and Boris, the kings of self publicity, are just using all these aggreviances for their own ends. Neither of them would be personally affected by leaving the EU, they are both far too rich as it is.

And if people do vote leave, and we head into another recession, or prices of goods go up, they'll blame everybody but themselves anyway.

Certainly the impression I'm getting listening to a great deal of radio and the occasional conversation with punters.
Could very easily replace the voting form with.

Are you a Xenophobe.

Yes (out)
No (in)

Boris couldn't care a fishes tit whether we're in or out just as long as he gets Cameron's job.
