Mine is threatening to be brilliant....had a cracking shift at work.....busiest day of the year, over 250 check outs and same check ins....managers have been panicking all week and the early shift smashed it....girls were fantastic all of them and then tonight I head to Legends in the Park here in Jersey with Spandau Ballet, tomorrow morning i head for a day in sark which has a folk festival (last day) and monday i spend the day in the beautiful port town of st Malo....and bank holiday so paid too :):) all in all assuming the ferry don't sink I'm stoked :)

Hope you all smash it too :)

Thursday afternoon\evening was spent in hospital after youngest narrowly missed losing his eye from his own stupidity (only a few stitches & a lovely shiner instead).

Last night upon leaving the slaughterhouse (yes really) instead of relaxing at home I was summoned to & spent 4 hours resolving printer issue's at THO's friends house (half the issue was connectivity & the other half was crapware that was stopping the printer spooler\RPC services) by the time I got the required tickets printed only to find them with blurry (damn crappy inkjets) barcodes for a event, my original (& ignored) suggestion of email to me & I'll print them off was finally actioned.

I'm not doing anything more on it, reset the machine to factory  standard or install W10 in a month was my suggestion.

Its Saturday & Stampede time here in Calgary & that means only one thing, THO wants to go on her weekly (shopping) trip again into Cowtown (not for fun stuff).

I have just finished watching the current run of 13 episodes of Thunderbirds Are Go while waiting for her.

My eyes are streaming (that time of year) since last nights pub visit & I have to do my wages calculation for the last three months.

& yes I'm still waiting...........................................................

My outlook on life is positive & carefree, I'm positive that I'm a pessimist & I don't care what what you think.

Never has so little had to be explained by me to so many so often.

Went and bought a book in Waterstones today for the first time in a year, so it time to get my glasses out, and its 'Jonathan-Strange-and-Mr-Norrell' . Its good value as its about over an inch thick for £8.99p. Largest book since I read one of the Harry Potters

Thats my idea of value, never mind the quality feel the width

I am going to spend my Summer holiday at a Spanish beach and read this through, as the BBC TV series left a lot of gaps to understand, in the mystical magicians story. A sort of Harry Potter for the grown ups.

Most weekends I'm working through a huge todo list, but this weekend I only have a few things on it, and I've not even started them yet. Spent Saturday morning playing a bit of Tomb Raider until I got too motion sick, then walking Suvi to Bonchurch and back down the sea front, playing some Castlestorm, going over to a friends for afternoon tea, some more Castlestorm, and then dinner and some TV (Hannibal and Penny Dreadful).

Today it's just dog walk, hoover the house, watch F1 and some more gaming!
