UFO conspiracy theory

Here's one we can all get behind, well nearly all of us (sorry bandi!)...

But a new documentary, Mirage Men, unearths compelling evidence that UFO folklore was actually fabricated by the US government. Rather than covering up the existence of aliens, could it be that the real conspiracy has been persuading us to believe in them?
...
Quote:
The classic case, well-known to conspiracy aficionados, is Paul Bennewitz, a successful electronics entrepreneur in New Mexico. In 1979, Bennewitz started seeing strange lights in the sky, and picking up weird transmissions on his amateur equipment. The fact that he lived just across the road from Kirtland air force base should have set alarm bells ringing, but Bennewitz was convinced these phenomena were of extraterrestrial origin. Being a good patriot, he contacted the Air Force, who realised that, far from eavesdropping on ET, Bennewitz was inadvertently eavesdropping on them. Instead of making him stop, though, Doty and other officers told Bennewitz they were interested in his findings. That encouraged Bennewitz to dig deeper. Within a few years, he was interpreting alien languages, spotting crashed alien craft in the hills from his plane (he was an amateur pilot), and sounding the alert for a full-scale invasion. All the time, the investigators were surveilling him surveilling them. They gave Bennewitz computer software that “interpreted” the signals, and even dumped fake props for him to discover. The mania took over Bennewitz’s life. In 1988, his family checked him into a psychiatric facility.

But maybe this is all just a conspiracy to hide the real conspiracy.

I bet the young Rob stirred up goldfish bowls with his Mum's soup ladle and set of bangers behind sleeping dogs.

Its just standard debunking and smoke and mirrors.

Many of us know UFO's are real, we know aliens are already here. The only unknown is the alien agenda and how deep the involvement is with world governments/military.

PS..And why do I know that UFO's are real, well back in the 1980's I saw two silver saucer UFO's hovering silently above the roof tops where I lived, Could not have been any closer.  Then they zoomed off at high speed.

I've seen David Copperfield fly, Paul Daniels split a lady into pieces and then put her back together again, and Derren Brown read minds, all with my own eyes up pretty close.

I guess the difference is I understand that what I think I've seen isn't proof of what I've seen, and that my (already inaccurate) memories change with time.

There are times Bandi, and this is one of them, when you reach maximum Icke level and I'm convinced that it's the rest of us who are being wound up.

You saw a Flying Object that you couldn't identify 30 years ago and this has you worried about the agenda of a superior Interstellar race?. Maybe you should have given Guardians of the Galaxy a miss the other day bandi.

....he only does this with the aid of about 6 others working behind the scenes / in ear monitors / knowing where some members of the audience are / hidden vision monitors etc etc

I would have been more worried if they had landed and got the probe out

No! He's a genuine mind reader! I know this because I can't see 6 other workers behind the scenes, any in ear monitors, hidden vision monitors, etc.

And nothing you will say will convince me otherwise!

(actually he achieves his illusions with far less than you think, in fact most of the methods behind magic aren't very mystical at all, whilst some require deft slight of hand, a lot of the skill comes in the misdirection and presentation, and DB is bloody good at them)

But even though I've read countless methods in many books about how to achieve all sorts of remarkably similar pieces of mind reading to Derren Brown's demonstrations, even though these would be far more rational explanations than him actually being able to read minds...

...I choose to believe he can read minds, because what I saw with my own eyes is more reliable than any other evidence.

One of the biggest difficulties people have believing that flying saucers/UFO's are here is that they are thinking that they are coming 50 light years a way from another part of the galaxy.

Whereas most of these craft are actually local within our system, ie, Moon bases, Mars base, underwater bases on Earth, and within remote mountains on Earth. So they are not flying great distances just for someone to spot them and then it ET go home.

So there is more chance that the majority are actually here hidden away, and for a long time in our past history till today.

According to alien/UFO websites there are quite a number of alien races here, some reasonable others more dangerous.  The agenda is still unknown, but if they had wanted to take over by fighting, then they had plenty of time to do it.

So its either a case of future peaceful co-existence with the galaxy, or they are going to bump us off suttlely. We wait and see
