Interesting little snippet resulting from this ruling.

Will the ruling and Googles reaction to it mask re-postings and mentions of the original such as this and does it affect other search engines  (I've only heard Google mentioned)

Wish they would forget anyone that uses google, as they retain anything you google for two years, and can hand this information to the authorities, the police and Fred in the Chip shop.

if you're that worried about using google, there's alternatives like

https://startpage.com/

and

https://duckduckgo.com/

that don't track you like google does
