Stick on TMS. You'll sleep through till the last session.

Glad your okay and still sound like your smiling.

Well, I finished radiotherapy yesterday. Glad to see the back of that.

That was so much easier than chemo. The skin on the target area is now quite red, and a little bit itchy but I just have to keep moisturising it and hopefully it won't peel or blister. I'm very tired and am going to rest for a few days. Hopefully my energy levels will come back up in a couple of weeks.

Today I start taking a hormone tablet called Tamoxifen. This inhibits my oestrogen production. I'll stay on it for the next 5-10 years. Side effects are similar to those of HRT. Also can bring on early arthritis as oestrogen is needed in the bones...I already have arthritis in my knees! lol Seem to have aged about 30 years in the last 6 months!

I'll never forget my final dose of radiotherapy - as I lay on the table, perfectly still, and all lazer lines perfectly criss crossing my body in the right places, I felt something in my ear. Having to calmly ask someone to check it out isn't very dignified, but I did ask, and sure enough, a bug was casually crawling into my ear! They were all horrified and amazed that I managed to resist the urge to move!

Anyway, next time you're having a drink, be it alcohol, tea, coffee, whatever, raise your glass to good health. This is one lady the Big C ain't gonna claim!

Now you're free of the chemo, you can start winding the clock back!

I had a spider crawl up my leg a couple of days ago. Set a simultaneous high jump and high pitched scream record. Your fearlessness knows no bounds!
