With these ancient accusations of rape, you begin to wonder are these `so called victims` in it to get the money out of these rich celebs. I am sure that`s what it is all about.

They are all lining up to get Jimmy Savilles money, (and other celebs money as well). They are just as bad as him.

unfortunately,  since WE dont have all the facts,  i suggest blindly saying they are all as bad as a pedophile is an incredibly prickish thing to say..

Not really, because it is all becoming to like the McCarthy witch hunt`s now.

Aren`t you forgetting one thing? Stuart Hall has plead guilty, so it wasn`t a witch hunt in his case because is did commit the crime he was accused of.

Don`t get into an argument, Ste. This is a subject that people really have trouble with.

Even when accusations which no one wanted to believe are admitted to fully by the accused, often a lot of people still hang on to their previous impression of that person, not wanting to believe they had been duped so badly.

It results in them still supporting that person and blaming the accusers for harming their reputation. They continually wish that the accusations could just have been brushed under the carpet, never to be mentioned again...after all, he`s been such a nice person to everyone else, so it doesn`t matter, does it.

Happens over and over again in these cases. Trust me, I know. I don`t blame anyone who feels that way. We all have to find a way to get our heads round things, and some can cope with the truth, while others can`t.

In things like this there are no winners. :/

At the risk of being too morbid, given the interview the Beeb were playing of Stuart Hall when he was initially charged, I have my doubts that he`s going to be around for sentencing.

Unfortunately the value and care we now accept as normal towards children was not always the case even in recent history. Check out the practice of parcelling kids in care off to Australia as orphans which only stopped in 1967.
