I can`t see how you can even alter your CoG.
Neither could I, but it worked. He couldn`t get my feet off the ground, until I let him.

You just sort of `willed` it down? ;)
So, assuming one can`t really walk on water.. how did he walk across it?  I`ve never even seen any footage but can`t imagine it`s too easy to get something of any reasonable length just below the surface without bother from whoever, erm, stops you doing such things.

EDIT: lol, just seen it on youtube.  I can only assume he had something under the water to walk on - just long enough until the `police` came and stopped him...

Hey, I don`t profess to knowing how they`re all done.  Or even 90%! ;)
Link?

He he, no I hadn`t even seen the trick you were talking about.
Saw the program last night - some silly obvious ones - but more real good ones. :)

I haven`t seen any of his shows but someone showed me a few YouTube clips tonight and I`m definitely gonna check him out.. I haven`t seen the heavy trick but is it possible he`s using Derren Browns style of hypnosis/suggestion for it?

Bryan

I think some must be either hypnosis or ringers, especially the heat ones.

I always like his unbalenced stances, defying gravity.....

In a few of last years episode he just walked out and stood in the street, then leaned right back without falling, then lifted one leg, arms out, matrix style, and still did not fall. A very visual trick indeed.

Now the only way I think he could do that physically is with two devices, one under the bent leg at the knee taking his weight using a spring loaded angle plate, and the other (which is more difficult) a fixed item in the pavement so he could attach his shoe to, (but that surely would be seen on the ground).

In one of this years episodes, seen from the preview, he is balencing one armed on top of a park bench, with his body parallel to the ground, again `defying gravity`. I am not going to even guess how that one is done.

It costs over £1000. it seems the biggest trick he`s constantly doing is surreptitiously making the public think he`s still a jobbing street performer (his clothing, accent and general demeanour), when he`s now increibly minted and can easily afford incredibly expensive rigs and apparatus to help him do his tricks
