Hi Guys Just want to draw your attention to 2 Phising Emails doing the rounds at the moment.1 from Lloyds Tsb and 2nd from Alliance & Leicester (supposedly).I have had thrre in the past week,so be aware and don`t give out any info asked for.If in doubt speak to your bank first. The one from Lloyds Tsb is pasted here. The one from A&L looks similar but with A&L logos.

Dear Customer

Lloyds TSB have been receiving complaints from our Customers
about unauthorised use of their Online Bank Accounts. As a result
we periodically review certain Customers` Accounts and temporarily restrict access
to those which we think are vulnerable to unauthorised use.

This message has been sent to you from Lloyds TSB because
we have noticed some invalid login attempts into your account.
Due to this we are temporarily limiting and restricting your
account access until we confirm your identity.

Do people still fall for these?

Not in this household - All online banking is done through me & only from manually entered url`s or bookmarks.

E-mails like this go straight in the bin. Though I did get a good e-bay one the other week, immediately logged in to PP to verify my account hadn`t been hacked, I reported that one.

I consider myself an optimist, albeit an optimist with cynical tendencies and a dark side that Lucifer himself would find a little creepy. (Perhaps you've noticed.) You don't normally associate cynicism with an upbeat pov. But I have exactly that combination and will defend it.

When fishermen catch dolphin-friendly tuna, how do they know which tuna are being friendly to dolphins?

Its surprising how many people still fall for this.It looks genuine enough with all the right colours you get on the LlodsTsb site.

Judging by the state of the world`s finances, most of the bankers have fallen for them.

Any phishing emails I get are forwarded to the appropriate bank`s fraud mailbox. I`ve even forwarded kosher emails on occasion.
