I hardly ever use ebay, but know some of you here are quite knowledgeable.
I received a welcome letter from ebay today - or rather a letter came to my house addressed to someone else with the same surname who has apparently recently registered as a business on ebay :/
There are no contact details on the letter, other than a registered office address in Switzerland, and a link for booking a complimentary advice session.
I can`t find a `contact us` link anywhere on ebay. Is there a way to get in touch with them to find out what is going on and get this sellers account cancelled /my address removed. Or is my only route to register for a consultation appointment and get them to ring me during the work hours in which they operate - while I am at work (which is not convenient next week) ?
I hate internet sites that don`t give ready contact links when needed :(

If you still need help, click the "Contact Us" link on the left side of any Help page. This will take you to a special form where you can send an email to eBay's Customer Support.
why take life so seriously..its not like you are going to make it out alive
Golden Rule - if it looks suspect. It Is. I`ve been with ebay for a while and I have never received a physical letter from them. As is my understanding, they don`t use physical mail except in exceptional circumstances.
Throw it away and pay it no mind.

Thanks for the help -I thought there must be some contact options, but couldn`t find them.
Stanz - you may well be right - all the security/fake type message options in help refer to emails. It took a while to find a subject line for the email that was vaguely suitable subject, but did not insist on a `body of dodgy email` to be copied to a mandatory field.
But would a scam really go to the expense of posting a glossy brochure all about how to sell on ebay ?
I will await their response.
