Wheres the catch???

ok this is probably obvious but its really bugging me.

i got one of these junk mail scratchcard delies through the post and not suprisingly i won. i can normally find a catch in the T&C`s about it really being a prize draw and to enter you have to pay for a monster phone call to enter but on this one it says clearly "match three and you are guarenteed to receive one of the below"

OK thats normal but normally they have a rubbish prize that everyone gets, eg a pen however in the small print it says Quote:
"all rewards are valued as atleast 20x the value of the call"

theres is only two suspicious lines but its not that bad:
Quote:

"prizes listed are an indication on of how the money can be spent and may vary"

Quote:
"The prizes are shared between other promotions"

So wheres the catch? where do they make their money?

it`ll be a con, i`d just forget about it & bin the f***er, best case scenario, you end up with nowt, & are no better or worse of than you are now, worse case scenario, it costs you £20+,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and you get a nice pen ;)

Hi, I had a similar thing, only on reading the small print found that I could send off for the prize without phoning first. So it only cost me the price of a stamp. All of the prizes looked very good, and I won a holiday. However on reading the small print on the voucher found that it was a holiday for 1. If you wished to take anyone with you it would cost an extra £400. I considered sending off another voucher so that the wife would be on the same trip. They seemed to be one step ahead, as again reading the small print (by this time a microscope was required) it stated that if one person was travelling, they would put another person in the same room as you (unfortunately of the same gender).

If it looks too good to be true ….. it is.
