What is it ?

Whats the difference between a DVD and a VCD ?

Will a VCD play on my Wharefedale 750S ?

VCD is short for Video CD, a format very popular over in Asia, and a much cheaper alternative to DVD. DVD is a trillion times better than VCD in terms of picture quality, and especially audio quality (only plain vanilla stereo on VCD)

I think the Wharfey will play it back - I answered a question yesterday from someone else with a Wharfey who was playing back a VCD
