Page 1 of I have been here for three years now...blimey!

OK, so to be techincal, I joined on 1st August 2000 which is three years tomorrow, but since I am away from this afternoon until Sunday I can only post this today...

Basically, I have just realised how long I have been visiting, reading, enjoying and posting on DVD Reviewer. After reading a link to it in Total Film, I headed over here (this was back when I had just got a DVD player and a couple of discs). Almost immediately I started posting the odd visitor review, the frequency of which spiralled until I had done 130 of them - as well as trying to start and engage in various interesting, and of course insane, topics on these forums.

Since I joined I have watched the site grow and grow...when I first came, the forums were not only smaller in the number of them, but also smaller in the number of users posting. Nowadays, there is a post practically every minute, with all the latest gossip and news shared by all. I have also served as a site reviewer and columnist for a while, enjoying free DVDs (ah, don`t we all) and also a bigger responsibility in informing the rest of the site - and enjoyed it immensely.

So, thanks first and foremost to RJS and Mark for waking up one morning and thinking "Hey, how about starting a DVD site" (or indeed, deciding to start one up in a drunken stupor), but also to all the users on Reviewer - reviewers, columnists, visitor reviewers, forum users - in making this one of my most-visited sites on the Net.

Ive just noticed that in 6 months time I will of been here 3 years as well

I reckon that works out as a 45 year old`s brain in a 15 year old`s body., another 4 years of it and you`ll up for a telegram from the queen. 8)
