Admars, how loud is your fan and how much heat out the back?
And is your drive noisy when seeking?
My one so far is a bit like the ps3 on the second fan stage but hasnt overheated or anything, the 2nd one has turned up so the option to return one is available to me.

To the mic always being on, theres an on/off switch on the cable.

Ordered mine today, off to BETT tomorrow but should have it for the weekend . :-).  Having hurt my back means lots of lying down and resting .

i bought one on Monday, they do seem to kick out a bit of heat at
the back which is to be expected i suppose considering how dinky
it is.

not that noisy tbh, but then again, my hearing ain't the best :(

Anyone played the PT "demo"? Turns out PT stands for playable teaser, and it's actually Silent Hill (or Silent Hills, as the new game is to be known). It comes with an interesting warning about not playing if you suffer from a heart condition. I took that a bit lightly, wondered how bad it could be... but wow... glad I don't suffer, because I swear I'd be dead now for real. I'm only a short way in to it, not even finished it yet as I had to come to work, but there were several points thought "there's no way on this earth am I walking down that corridor", and others where I wanted to turn it off altogether but for the sake of my own mind needed closure. It is without a doubt the scariest game I've ever played, scarier than pretty much any horror film I've ever watched - and I really don't spook easily. I don't want to spoil it with teasers, but if you've got a PS4 and haven't played this yet (and you're not a sissy little girl like myself... or maybe even if you are but enjoy the adrenaline rush), I can't recommend it enough.

and soon there's a pro which I won't be getting to make full use of the 4k TVs people are buying, like the 3d tvs :)

I got an email from HMV advertising loads of ultra 4k Blu Rays, I must be turning into my dad as I just kind of assumed they played on ordinary blu ray players, which is the sort of ridiculous assumption I'd make my dad to make and would ridicule him for :(

(they don't use a computer, but he genuinely assumed that putting windows 10 on a laptop meant that that turned the screen into a touch screen :( )

hard to believe that growing up as a kid he used to buy monthly video magazines to keep up to date with TVs and videos, and loved his expensive Panasonic VHS VCRs, the Sanyo Betamax he bought with redundancy money (he already had anther job lined up) etc
