Think the PS3`s security is pretty mullered now!
only for those who want it mullered.

from a personal point of view (i play online a lot) i`m not in the slightest bit
interested in hacking my PS3, and really despise those selfish twats who
ruin games by using "teh hackzorz" to become invincible (MW2 - last year).

Pretty sure you could only use wallhacks and aimbots online on the PC version.

nope, when the system was hacked last year, there were all kind of hacks being used
on MW2 for the PS3. i got shot through about fifteen walls from one side of the level
as soon as the game starter. watching the killcam showed that the scrote had got
an aimbot on and could shoot through anything. he/she/it had got a menu of cheats
to use.

also got teleported from street level in "karaachi" to one of the rooftops.

oh, and got my stats wiped.

Sony just got hacked, doxxed, and shut down

The work day ended early for Sony Pictures employees. Most of them, anyway. The IT crew will be logging overtime as they deal with a massive breach perpetrated by a group of hackers calling themselves #GOP. The letters stand for Guardians of Peace, though probably not this Guardians of Peace. While their motives are unclear at this point, what is clear is that this was an attack of cinematic proportions.

and there's more :(

Sony pull (probably very mediocre and not that funny) film after threats:

So Sony have pulled it and accepted they aren't going to make any money from it.
Wouldn't it be nice if they hadn't quite locked the back door properly and it started popping up on various torrent sites.
'Oh dear, however did that happen, we must've been hacked.'

I used to be with it, but then they changed what `it` was.
Now, what I`m with isn`t it, and what`s `it` seems weird and scary

Setting a dangerous precedent by caving then. I'm sure it'll see release at some point, but it does beg the question as to why no one as Sony thought this might be an issue at the start? In fact, I'm sure I read stuff about this months ago in which people predicted exactly this.

But did they? Rumours abound the movie will be made available from many outlets for a vastly inflated pricetag. Likelihood is this'll be breaking records across the board, without a single cinema seat sold.

From what I've heard, Kim Jong Un isn't actually painted in that bad a light in the movie (even though he's an elitist, borderline genocidal f***nut), showing that even legitimate film critics aren't the only ones to make half-baked opinions on the idea of a movie before even seeing it

The odds are the breach was internal . Look at the embarassing drivel being leaked  in emails including the *racist* CEO. 'This is not who I am' she bleated The fact she has kept her job is the scandal. Just look through  the list of employees released in the last 6 months. Be a good idea for a film. Maybe the North Koreans are making it right now

Thought my broadband connection was on the blink, as it was taking forever to load these pages...

Then realised that people's PSN profiles in their signature weren't loading.
