I`ve just gone back and completed the other three again in anticipation. I liked Crysis 2 a lot more the second time around.

Completed Crysis 3. Bit short for my liking, but the bow is all kinds of fun! Managed to run it perfectly well on medium and it looked great. Tried it on high but the framerate was a bit choppy at times, so knocked it back down for completely smooth gameplay.

My copy of God of War: Ascension shipped this afternoon. Depending on RM I could have it in a couple of days

Completed it now. Have about five trophies left to get for plat, two of which are online trophies. Had to restart the game on hard as on my first play-through I didn`t get enough health/magic upgrades to beat the Achilles challenge level. Only took me a few hours to get back to that point and did it on my second or third try. End boss was way too easy by comparison.

Unfortunately I now have to trek through a number of levels to pick up the trophies I missed. I forgot to repair one flipping destroyed chest (the first one) and because of that I have to replay level 8-13 continuously... Also have to beat the Achilles thing again to get the last artefact, as I went left around an object instead of right and so didn`t see it. That one made me angry, as there was no way of knowing at the time (was just unlucky I chose to walk one way instead of the other).

Overall, decent game, but probably the weakest GoW yet...

Playing Tomb Raider on the PC. Plays intuitively and looks incredible, even if it does make my GFX card sound like it`s trying to take off. Mind you, I couldn`t figure out why it`s an 18. That was until I heard all the swearing and saw all the dismembered limbs.

Still no topless scenes though. Pfft.

Completed Tomb Raider the other day. Enjoyed it, even if it was an Uncharted rip off!

Been playing Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon over the weekend. It`s very short and as such I completed it in hours rather than days, but it`s a lot of fun (and cheap). It`s full of pretty much every 80s action movie cliché that you can imagine and the lead character is voiced by Michael Biehn. Silly, but a laugh.

I decided that I wanted a trip back in time to 2010, so I just bought Red Dead Redemption GOTY edition. I say just, it was actually over a week ago and I`ve completed the campaigns for both the main game and Undead Nightmare. Still a lot of challenges left to do, but I don`t think I will be doing everything as I have a life!

Good game though, made even better by the fact it was only £14. When the PS4 comes out I hope to see a reduction in the price of PS3 games. I remember buying an Xbox when it was near the end of its life-cycle, and it was great being able to pick up the cream of that generation`s crop for peanuts.
