BTW, it looks as though they are already back in a limited capacity as Red Fox (forums have been updated). There are instructions to modify your hosts file to point to the key servers and they're bringing them back online soon (maybe later today). They also mentioned that there may be a new version of AnyDVD to point to the new servers as well, so it looks as though they are recommencing development under a new identity.  They've gone to Belize!

Intermediate release now available that connects to the new key servers and works with existing licences:

https://forum.redfox.bz/

I imagine that eventually they'll charge for the new product, but I hope they give some sort of concession to people who already have lifetime licences etc.

Hopefully they'll take the license key database and move it across.

Would be nice, but unfortunately I don't think it'll happen. The devs are independent of Slysoft and when it went they were owed quite a lot of money.

If they have the encryption DB and the source code, there is a chance they have the auth DB too. Or maybe they have the code that says if a key is a lifetime or not.

One thing is for sure, all the people who bought lifetime licenses are not going to want to do it all over again for the same people, even if they are a different company.

Agreed, I certainly won't be happy to spend another £100+. That said, a lot of people on their forums seem to be completely content to do so.

That's harsh, I'm still on the final Slysoft version and Force Awakens works for me.
