PowerDVD stuttering BD playback - VLC fine
Happened all sudden like. Playing via Slysoft, PowerDVD starts stuttering badly, to the point of unplayable. VLC plays fine, but without menus, which is a shame, as I like my behind the scenes stuff
any thoughts/suggestions/experience?

RE: PowerDVD stuttering BD playback - VLC fine
Has PowerDVD suddenly stopped using hardware acceleration? Not sure where the option for that might be in the preferences, not used it in so many years. :(
Also check your graphics drivers, maybe they need updating, or maybe you did update them recently and that broke the GPU decoding.

Depends on the version I think:

Normally, that would be the first thing I checked, but this was a sudden change. Blu-rays worked fine 4 days ago, now they're not, and as far as I know, nothing's changed, hardware-wise
