God that sucked! I'd rather watch The Phantom Menace on a loop.

I'm thinking Justin Lin may have been a bad decision.
I was expecting Vin Diesel to drive towards camera as it panned over the planet.
Will have to wait for the reviews before I go to this one.
I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which i`m dying are the best i`ve ever had.
Beyond what? like the last adaptation for its darkness... this looks more like a spoof with lots of in jokes and cliches!
Somebody on the FilmScoreMonthly message boards edited the trailer with James Horner's score to The Search for Spock:

"At least I wont die alone"
BRILLIANT
Love it, i'm ready, Die hard treekie fan, get the rubber ears out the cupboard, popcorn in hand, when does it open at the cinema?
All spoilers....
SPOILER:
The trailer had the best moments of the film so was a bit dissapointed that way.
Overall not a bad film but not as good as the last two, with respect to emotion, and character interaction. It totally lacked this time.
The Enterprise breaking up and 70% of the crew dead had been done before in earlier star trek movies so was no shock or heartbreak, and Kirk as usual expected anyone in red T shirts to die, which they did :D
There was also a bit in the film that did not make sense, as the ship broke up kirk said to a young alien ensign "I need you and come with me" but never found out why, or maybe I blinked and missed the point?
Highlight with CGI was the Giant Space city sphere in space, other scenes in caves and rocky areas looked like painted polystene sets (AKA:Doctor Who).
If you wanted more realism with caves and rocky sets then the last Riddrick film was superb.
Overall, Star trek 3 was worth going to see, but not as good as I thought it was going to be. Though the final fight scene within the sphere city was very good and made up for some earlier parts.
