Page 1 of Independance day (2 disk set)

Due to Independance day 2  getting made now, I decided to get Independance day DVD to see it again, which I found in Poundland for errm!, a pound 

This film is the 'gung ho all american bash the alien up type of film', with the brilliant Will Smith being the icing on the cake in this movie.

What I like about the 2 disk set, is the second disk is full of extras, trailer, making of, features, etc.

Just a pity Will Smith has turned down Independance Day 2 (ID2), by asking too much to star in it. I hope, it covers what the Earthers did with all the 'left over' aliens, left alive throughout the planet, devoid of transport home. I wonder if ID2 will cover this

Most Si-fi movies do not bother with the aftermath cleanup. One movie that does is 'District 9', which deals with 'left over' aliens and is a good Si-fi film (filmed in S. Africa and well acted), its worth buying the DVD.

Cannot wait for ID2 at the cinema.

This would be screaming out for 3D. :)
