Noah

Decided to skip work this afternoon, as generally p***ed of , and went to see NOAH.

Cinema audience at noon...... 6 people including me.

Now if you think this has any reference to do with the bibles story, then you are far mistaken, except for the flood, and the ark, and the animals two by two (with some eaten later on, must have been the Dodo).

SPOILERS now, do not read unless you must.....

This Noah is a homicidal nutter, out to kill all, he had no chance of getting to heaven with a death score as bad as Rambo, but it was well played by 'that guy out of master and commander', and also his adopted daughter played by hermany granger of harry potter fame. (OK, dont know her real name), again she played the part well, but could not see her other than flashinng a wand with the word 'asbestiousious'

We also have fallen angels that look like limping brick type 'tranformers', god knows why CGI decided to do it like this.

The baddy was played by that well known bad guy, can't remember his name, but it made the story less than boring.

Yeh, it passed the afternoon, but would not get it on DVD.

Highly forgettable.

Emma Watson
Ray Winstone

Complete waste of time and made less sense than the official version

Tell me again where Chinese people and Aborigines came from if our first common ancestor is one bloke, who has to use his 3 sons (one of whom naffed off) , and their twin nieces/daughters to re-populate the planet

Truly dreadful movie, only made popular by the holy brigade who finally have a film made just for them, hang the logic

Russell Crowe ( Master and Commander guy).

I'll be seeing this with my unlimited card soon to pass a couple of hours. I plan on watching it as a story on its own and completely disregarding what I know to be the truest portion of The Bible.

Watched this tonight at the Route66 Drive In in Manchester.
film was OK - didn't get the 'rock blokes' and felt they skipped over the animals 2x2 :)
was good watching it in the motor , own space and no plebs nearby

Dwayne Johnson (Rock bloke)

I've never been to a drive-in movie, they have the odd one up this way sometimes but i either find out too late or have other plans but i do love the idea of the pleb free cinema experience from the comfort of my own car.

Pretty sure that should still say 'believe'..
There may well be mentions of floods across various religions (can't imagine how there couldn't be, given the movement and migration of people over the last few few thousands of years) and evidence of water in various places.  It's quite a leap (of faith even) to think therefore there was a boat on it saving mankind from said water and pestilence...
Where did all this water go by the way?

Ste

We will pay the price but we will not count the cost..

The water is still here, man now lives on the peaks of long-submerged continent-wide mountains? Imagine how high Everest must have looked back in the day.

I don't follow religion at all, I don't have a holy bone in my body, except maybe my Sacrum.

Give it a wide berth, truly awful movie, acting ott, story ridiculous as are all bible epics, given that I think i am getting less and less easy going when it comes to movies, watched Spider  Man 2 and thought that was again worse than an already poor original, again i got no chemistry between the leads, Electro was soooo different to the comic character and Jamie Foxx completely wrong, but not as wrong as Rhyno....god awful I would say the worst enemy every in comic book movies.
