Other rumoured castings include Matt Damon as Aquaman and Mark Strong as Green Lantern mentor Sinestro, a role he has played before.
He`ll always be "Hal" first at foremost to me, but interesting that his career is doing so well, seems to be doing the best since Malcolm in the Middle finished. He could be a v good choice for Luthor

After the leak and the SW trailer, this one just depressed the hell out of everyone that saw it. I'm all for dark tones in movies, but this is just miserable as hell. It doesn't make me want to see the movie

Pretty dark trailer, I agree. But a very interesting one imho. Why are folks kneeling before Supes? Why all the rhetoric against him? I imagine we're going to see a pretty tortured soul a la Frank Miller version, and I'm very much interested in seeing that, although I admit I prefer my Superman to be the hero. Hopefully he will still prove to be as much when the film is out. And that Bat costume frankly to me looks the best movie version yet. Just awesome.
My man-crush on Cavill's Superman continues. :) I would have preferred a sequel to the flawed-but-nevertheless-thrilling Man of Steel, but this *will do*. :)

I was going to avoid any spoilers etc, but I caved, looks good, I think they've spent a few dollars on it :)

Final trailer...
From the clips the reasoning behind Batman going up against Superman are... erm... stupid. I'll still buy it on Blu-ray though, probably even if people say it's terrible, mainly because I enjoyed Man of Steel.

Well I just watched the Imax version of the movie and was incredibly underwhelmed by the whole thing, disjointed, boring, the fight scenes with Batman were not a patch on the Daredevil series and the CGI was very good but at $150 million I'm not surprised.
As for Wayne and Batman, how many origins do we get, completely pointless and i thought that after all the hype Affleck was criminally (pun intended) misscast, I mean the voice, do they set out to make Batman speak like that no matter who plays him? Alfred again awful casting and I absolutely HATE luthor, i mean he was more Joker than Luthor and the pointless head shaving...well boring...the future Justice League characters left me completely underwhelmed, roll on Captain America.

Yeah Lex bothered me too. I read a review that suggested maybe...
SPOILER:
Given the obvious daddy issues, he is actually the son of thee Lex Luther. .....which I hope is accurate.
My other grumble was SPOILER:
the Knightmare sequences. They bothered me enough to go looking for more hard-core comic book reader reviews. Apparently we should have known that these are premonitions. Superman's soldiers wear the symbol of Darkseid and the guy in the weird portal/monitor vision was Esra Miller, who will be The Flash in next years Justice League film. .
I'm fine with easter eggs in fanboy films, but big scenes shouldn't require further reading to make sense for the casual audience.
If you haven't seen it yet, I suggest you go in expecting Watchmen more than Avengers.
