we only got round to watching the recap, then ep 1 tonight, really enjoyed it, even if we did find ourselves wondering when the funny stuff would stop, and something bad would happen ;)

maybe because I remember this era better but it's amazing the attention to detail. Certain things people say, and products people mention, and the obvious things like clothes, cars, and of course the TVs and video games :)

just watched episode two, brilliant stuff, amazing how while watching it your emotions can change with the characters in the show.

Missus and I were discussing it, guess it's cos for the most part, they are normal people, for a lot of the time in relatively normal situations, so they're quite likeable.

Kwik Save carrier bag made me chuckle :)

Must be good, as we're up to date :) Sadly ee have to pause now and again to try and remember who did what to whom etc, may have to read wikipedia on it!

We have some theories on what may happen to different ppl in the finale, but wouldnt be surprised if we end up being miles off.

This one had me in tears last night.

Every bloody season!

I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which i`m dying are the best i`ve ever had.

wow, just watched finale, I think we were more or less right about one person, but surprised about another
SPOILER:

Assumed the worst would happen to Combo, but we thought Kel would end up with HIV due to the drugs/sleeping around, it being 90s and all that ;)
I can't remember the last time I felt so tense watching anything on TV, the music didn't help (as in it was so good the way it added to the tension), I was tempted to start smoking again!

Brilliant the way it leaves you guessing, even if it does make you start to think an innocent event will go horribly wrong etc :)

lol, sign of a good show, missus and I were still discussing it when we were meant to be going to sleep, then again this morning, and just had a nice talk with some-one at work about it.

unanswered questions, did a google to see if I had misunderstood/missed something, and see other ppl discussing same things we were  wondering, "what ifs" etc :)

Just finished watching it across two days, yet again brilliant.

SPOILER:
Two things I'm wondering about, I don't remember the Bros lookalikes from the previous series, where they in it and I just forgot them?

Also were we supposed to know who the two white thugs Combo was handed over to were?

spoiler 1

I didn't remember them either but wikipedia does :) they had bullied Shaun, I'm guessign back in the film, not sure if they had been in inbetween series.

spoiler 2

that was was an interesting area of discussion I had with the missus, guy at work different theory, and various theories on the internet :)SPOILER:

I think it's meant to be up to our imagination, the one I was thinking was that they were probably ex NF mates of Combo he had done time with, and now saw him as a traiter, but that doesn't really work with the Milk's "family" handing him over, but would explain why Combo was so scared, as he knew exactly what they would do to him, and death may be a long painful process :(

but then I also got thinking, as long as he was in the van, he wasn't sure he'd die, he may just get a good kicking, but being handed over to some-one else suggested the very worse, as the guys in the van didn't want to do that?

something I hadn't thought of, was that those guys could be family of Lol's dad, who apparently were involved in crime, so since Combo knew Lol's dad was connected he may know them and what they could do to him?

Yeah I think you are right there admars...

SPOILER:
When he was in the van he just thought he was going to get beaten up, but the moment they handed him over to those two blokes he knew he was going to get killed.

Most likely slowly.

I always think the best actors can take an unlikeable character and make you feel sorry for him.
