I am tempted to buy the above movie on ebay, but I`m wondering if anyone has seen it, and if its better than the theatrical version?

My brother`s got this and he said it`s far, far better. Haven`t watched it myself but he`s a big horror fan so I believe him.

How much is it going for? If it`s reasonable I`d get it.... you can always sell it on if you`re not happy.

Expect the worst and you won`t be disappointed

Thanks for that I`ve just bought it, so I can`t wait, I so hope its really good. Apart from the theatrical release of 6, there hasn`t been a bad Halloween movie, unlike other horror franchise, you can tell they really make an effort in to the stories.

here`s the link to where I got it from.

From the looks of his feedback he looks like a decent bloke.

When you think about it, They do try harder than the other slasher flicks.

Halloween III was the break away from the myers series, with something totaly different, which I personally think was cool.

Halloween IV had a very cool unexpected twist in the end.

Halloween V was your run of the mill slasher flick, but still a good fun movie, and adding a mystery character to the mix, certanly got you wondering who the man in black was, and his purpose.

Halloween 6:- was good except for the devil cult theme, which I felt was cheesy, I hope that the producer`s cut, is alot better.

Halloween H20:- back to form, whilst riding on the success of the Scream trilogy, the writers did inject some new life into the classic horror franchise, even tho they dismissed 4,5, and 6, it was still a fun movie to watch.

Halloween:- Resurrection:- I felt this was ten times superior to My little eye. I also liked the scene when Micheal Myers walks towards the camera, then another Myers walks slowly behind him.

Halloween 6 "the Producers cut" makes more sense than the official theater release and would of made a great cliff hanger ending to the series (IMHO), It tied up the loose ends of parts 4,5.
H20 just confused everybody as it just followed on from halloween 2 and forgot about the rest of the series.
Being a huge Halloween fan i still love all of the movies regardless of the mixed up history the movies created. ;)

Define irony: a bunch of idiots dancing around on a plane to a song made famous by a band that died in a plane crash.

Great news regarding The Producers Cut, It had a theatrical showing 27th Oct in New Beverly Cinema in Los Angeles, So a 35mm version does still exist,So maybe just maybe we could see a DVD/BLU-RAY release of this version.

I've still never seen this.

I remember being really disappointed seeing the original cut after really liking Halloween 4 and 5 (I was only about 11/12 at time).

I remember being disappointed at the way that Halloween 4's ending was brushed off a bit in 5 though, but will have to give it a blast at some point including watching the first 4 again (never seen 3, but obviously not essential).

I remember being in the minority not loving Halloween H20.  Didn't watch the one after that or seen either of the Rob Zombie ones either.

I thought H20 wasn't great but that's because they totally wiped out 4,5 & 6 and picked up from pt2.
As for Rob zombies they movies gave us way too much insight into Micheal, which wasn't needed as it took away the whole stranger in a mask idea which was the scare factor of the original movies.
The 3rd movie is well worth a watch as it's a good stand alone horror movie with that catchy bloody tune (you'll never forget it).

The 3rd is my favourite! Not that I've seen 4 onwards.
