HMV have it listed as a single DVD, released on 8/12/2003.
yeah....i think all 4 films are being re-released as 2-disc sets at the same time as the box set.
No, the double disc sets of all four films are being released in January, only the Quadrilogy is being released on 8/12/2003 or 2/12/2003 if you go for R1 which I have now decided to do having heard that the commentaries on R2 will only be on one version of the film, but on R1 they cover both.
Yep, Martyn`s right - Fox will cash in first with the Quadrilogy, before offering consumers the chance to pick and choose what films they want. :-)

ahh...ok. i knew they were being released seperately....just wasn`t sure when.
Don`t agree that the Quadrilogy is a cash in at all, to me it looks like being a superb collection and personally I will be buying it.
Having ordered the Region 2 set solely because of the DTS sound tracks. I now feel I want to get the REg.1 with the extra commentaries on but does these discs come with the DTS sound tracks? Help.. Most of the Reg 1 website only list Dolby Digital only but Loaded247.com list it as having the DTS sound tracks also. I do not know who to believe.
Alien and Alien Resurrection feature DD5.1/DTS5.1 soundtracks, the other films have DD5.1 only.

Thanks Anil,
Sorry to be a pain but will this apply to the Reg 2 Discs as well or will all 4 have DTS in the Region 2 release. Thanks. Keith
Doesn`t the extra commentary track mean that other things are getting squeezed. The main reason for Region 2 (apart from re-saleability) is picture quality surely?
As far as I know the DTS soundtracks are only available on the first two films of the tetraology in region 2 - again a space matter...
