Wait ages for a Steam sale and two come along at once. So probably going to be all the same stuff as the one a few weeks ago.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'm wanting some new content to throw at the new gaming machine, but I struggled to find anything in the last sale. Hopefully there will be a few new titles on the cheap!

*Edit* Things that caught my eye, although I've already played them:

Injustice: Gods Among Us: Worth a look for less than £4 if you like fighting games
LOTR: Shadow of Mordor: Can't recommend this enough. Really enjoying it.
Ryse Son of Rome: A bit shallow, but decent enough hack and slash and it looks very pretty
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron: A great action game (as is the original Battle for Cyberton. The last one, Dark Spark, was rubbish).
The Amazing Spider-Man: Good Spidey game, and better than the recent sequel.
Metro  2023 and Last Light Redux: Graphical and gameplay-tweaked versions of two good shooters.
The Force Unleashed and Force Unleashed II: Really good Star Wars games, although the second one is criminally short to the point where you feel like you've misplaced a second disc full of action...
Gauntlet: Nice update of the arcade classic.
Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition: A really good GTA clone with newly-updated graphics, gameplay and most of the DLC thrown in. I'm currently replaying it.
The Walking Dead: Season 2: A really good adventure game.
Far Cry 3: Decent FPS with great visuals.
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon: A stand-alone companion to the above that pastiches 80s action movies and stars Micheal Biehn in the lead role. Good fun.
Mafia II: A good GTA-style game.
Shadow Warrior: Bonkers action game in which you slice people up with a sword whilst making one-liners. Great.
Lego Marvel Superheroes: Lego. Marvel. What's not to like?
Quake IV: Under-appreciated entry in the series. I had a lot of fun with it.
Homefront: An average FPS with a decent premise, but quite cheap.
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands: An enjoyable third-person action platformer.
Crysis+Warhead: Amazing FPS games that defined a generation.
Call of Juarez Gunslinger: An enjoyable old West FPS.
Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood: Another enjoyable old West FPS.
Max Payne 3: The franchise has run out of steam somewhat, but it's still enjoyable enough.
Batman: Arkham Asylum: Fantastic third-person action/stealth game. Highly recommended.
Lego Lord of the Rings: Not the best Lego game, but still fun.
Lego Batman 2: More DC Lego fun!
Sniper Elite 3: Another good FPS game with stealth elements.

Of course I've already played all of those... The Monkey Island Adventures pack is up for a smidgen less than £7, but I'm not sure if those are as good as the classic MI games.

I caved and bought Flight Simulator X, even though I already own it. The convenience of having it on Steam, and supporting the new developers so they actually carry on making more (MS abandoned the series years ago, then brought it back as an awful arcadey F2P game which bombed because it totally misunderstood the sim market) for it... and heck it's only £3.99 in the sale.

Well, so much for that.  Lords of the Fallen blew up my secondary PC...

...big bang and puff of smoke as trying to load cut scene right at start of game.

Yeowch. I'd ask what you spend £45 on but that seems a bit cruel now. :/

Did your PSU give up the ghost?

Aye, fragged an external hard drive as well, just hoping it didn't frag the internals of the PC as well...

What I bought?

Lords of the Fallen (now there's a regret...)
Gothic Universe Edition (games 1, 2 & 3)
Styx
Dark Souls 2

On a bit of an RPG thing at the mo...
