    Synopsis:
Fast talking Rayford Gibson (Eddie Murphy) and the conservative Claude Banks (Martin Lawrence) are accidentally teamed up to become the funniest "odd couple" east of the Mississippi.

In an effort to pay off Ray`s debt and restore Claude`s reputation, they travel south on a bootlegging run for some quick cash. There is no limit to their comical misfortune as they are placed at the scene of a crime and their mistaken identity lands them right in front of the judge.
This hysterical comedy gives a whole new meaning to friends for life.

A nice little comedy with drama features entwined in it.
Both Murphy and Lawrence are hilarious and play their rolls using a lot of improvisations.
The video transfer is average, but it`s enough for a comedy. The image is clear and the colors are mostly very well defined. No compression marks are visible.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is a bit flat. The surrounds are rarely used, but when they are used, they are used well.
The menus are static with simple transitions from one screen to another.
The extras include some funny outtakes, a couple of musical videos and some behind the scenes featurette. I did not bother to listen to the director`s commentary even though it should`ve included some nice features regarding the impressive makeup in the movie.
Bottom line - a nice comedy with some drama features in it.
