    Synopsis:
    In depression hit 30`s New York Ann Darrow (Naomi Watts) is a beautiful young actress struggling to find a job after losing her role in a vaudeville theatre which has been shut down. Her luck changes when she meets an over ambitious filmmaker, Carl Denham (Jack Black), who coaxes her to join his film shoot on a remote island. Falling for stranded playwright Jack Driscoll (Adrien Brody) on the voyage she is taken prisoner on arrival to the island by the indigenous tribe`s people and left as a sacrifice for the ape-god Kong.

    Ann begins a relationship with Kong in which she learns the meaning of humanity and compassion as he protects her from the dangers lurking on the island. Jack leads a successful search party into the island to rescue Ann but the mighty Kong is also captured and brought back to New York. Escaping from Denham`s stage show, Kong rampages through New York City until he is reunited with Ann - only for destiny to intervene with tragic consequences.

    I thought this film was a bit boring, its alright but nothing special with it. Has good sound though.
