This dvd kicks off season 3 of this popular series. I`ve been waiting for this dvd for sometime, because the lastest episode i`d seen on television was the end of season 2 on sky (by the way the`ve only recently showing season 2 on Channel 4) The video transfer is good and great use of dolby digital 5.1 which I hope that use this in all further stargate sg1 releases. Some nice animated menus, a 5 min featurette and a season 3 trailer which is not much but it`s better than the previous releases. All good storys with into the fire being my favorite out of the four. If you like stargate sg1 and don`t have access to sky1 then this dvd`s for you.

    Finally there r DD 5.1.

Sound world is fabolous `n dynamic.I cant describe how real the sound world is. Only bad: rapid gun fire sounds likea somethin else than gun when they shot some Snakeheads in the buildin.

Picture was pretty good, but there is a little bit screen brush.

Story is unbelivebull,yo gotta c `n hear it 4 yo self.

The old series had a useful chapter break just after the titles. These don`t. Only about 4 chapters per episode so don`t try skipping the titles, you`ll miss a lot.

Why they`ve changed this I can`t imagine. Certainly not to boost our viewing pleasure.

Enjoy watching or manually skipping the title sequence again and again.

Wow .. extra feature about a character that tells you basically nothing interesting. Look forward to more useless features on vols 9 ...
